On April 4, 2025, Professor Emily Jones, Director of the Case Centre on Public Leadership at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, visited the China Case Center for Public Policy and Management (CCCPPM) at Tsinghua SPPM for an exchange meeting. The session was attended by Mu Ling, Assistant Dean of SPPM and Director of the CCCPPM, as well as research assistants Xie Mengyu and Cheng Yue.

During the meeting, Professor Jones shared insights into the development and operations of Oxford’s Case Centre, highlighting key experiences and challenges in areas such as institutional development, case writing, teaching methods, and faculty training. She also expressed a strong interest in deepening collaboration with Tsinghua’s Case Center.

Director Mu warmly welcomed Professor Jones and noted the strong foundation of collaboration built since the two sides first connected in 2023. She expressed hope for expanding cooperation in areas including case development, case competitions, and curriculum design, leveraging the unique strengths of both institutions.

Xie Mengyu provided an overview of Tsinghua’s Case Center, emphasizing recent achievements in case development, publishing, training, and international collaboration. Cheng Yue gave an introduction to the Tsinghua International Case Analysis Competition of Public Policy on SDGs. The two sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on potential areas for future collaboration and shared challenges.
