Case teaching is recommended as an effective way to link theory to practice as this method can help to present students with some aspect of real-life scenarios whereby they can apply and integrate knowledge, skills, theories and experience. MPA education at SPPM is devoted to innovating its teaching methods, in which case teaching, scenario simulation and field teaching are widely used. The method of case teaching is quite effective in stimulating creativity and participation of students, and in fostering their strategic thinking, forward-looking perspective and decision-making ability, which thus contributes to cultivating high-level special talents for government departments and social organizations. Since its establishment, the case center has been committed to providing high-quality services for case teaching at SPPM and continuously organizing workshops and activities to promote case-based teaching and learning methods.
