2015 Tsinghua University National Public Policy Cases Teaching and Development Training Class was held from Sept 19th to 20th in School of Public Policy and Management,Tsinghua University,on the occasion of SPPM’s 15th anniversary.70 instructors from 42 universities and institutions participated in this training.

The training added cases research activities including the one-on-one event with editor-in-chief of China Public Administration Review, aiming to combine cases teaching and cases research, and to promote research level and teaching qualities. Editor-in-chief of China Public Administration Review and Professor Wu Yongping selected seven cases research articles to analyze and demonstrate methods, data resources, theories and practical significance of cases research. The owner of Tsinghua Academic Star, Doctor student Zeng Zhimin also shared his academic research experience about cases development and cases research to the attending teachers.

During the training, teachers prepared a course and wrote case teaching manuals together on the case “Predicament of Baby Safety Island”. After the groups reporting their manuals, all teachers attended voted the most inspiring one. Assistant professor Mei Ciqi, the first-prize winner of Seventh Beijing Youth Teachers’ Teaching Basic Skills Contest made comments on the reports. The fifth group finally showed out of the rating, and become the winner of the award ceremony.
