Director Mu Ling greeted the guests and introduced goals, the personnel structure and the construction of Case Center. Mu Ling introduced that Case Center firstly serves the School of Public Policy&Management, Tsinghua University and the teaching tasks of school faculties. Faculties would propose demands and ideas of cases according to syllabus, teaching goals and core knowledge of core courses they teach. Under the overall guidance of faculties, students will develop cases on the basis of field research. After using developed cases in teaching, faculties will reflect teaching effect which helps improve the qualification of case development. “Never are cases isolated but for teaching. Cases are developed not merely problem-oriented but also to deliver critical thinking in the process of teacher-student interaction,” stressed by Director Mu.

In future, Case Center will continue carrying out cooperation and training on cases teaching in various forms with universities in China to exchange experience and promote case teaching and application.
