Originated by Deng Fei, the well-known media professional, the Free Lunch Program has been developed for 5 years and has made indispensable contribution for progress of Chinese civilian commonwealth groups. A comprehensive system of country commonwealth has been built, including Free Lunch Project, Critical Illness Insurance, “Warm Current Project”, and “E Farmer Project”. Combined with local features, various models of innovation commonwealth are sought out around China. From March 14th to 21th, Associate Professor Jia Xijin, Lin Jiehui, Sang Zhuang, assistants of China Case Center, under the planning and organization of Mr. Deng Fei, went to Hang Zhou,Zhe Jiang Province and He Feng county of Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hubei Province, launching a week of research activities about the planning and practice of joint commonwealth projects.

Through this research, members of our case center have gained insight into country innovation projects such as Free Lunch Program, as well as their implementations. The case center is looking forward to the follow-up development of the case of “He Feng model”, disseminating advanced concepts of governance, providing guidance for the development and innovation of social governance model.
