Vice Dean Peng and Director Mu met Assistant Director of Richard Ivey School of Business

On December 28, 2011, Peng Zongchao, Vice Dean of SPPM, and Mu Ling, Director of China Case Center met Ms. Michelle Han, Assistant Director of Asian Management Institute (AMI) and Engaging Emerging Markets Center of Richard Ivey School of Business, to have an in-depth discussion on the cooperation of case studies.

SPPM has been maintaining good relation with Richard Ivey School of Business. And Ivey wishes to cooperate with schools with strength in China on case development and case teaching. As a famous business school in Canada with its specialty on Case Teaching Method, Ivey has already formed an integrated case teaching mode of "Case Development--Case Training--Case Study". The diversity of its cases, systematization of its case training and the cumulative approach of case study have certain reference for the case teaching development of SPPM.

The meeting enhanced mutual understanding of the two sides. Assistant Director Han introduced Ivey School, its Case Teaching Method and the responsibilities of AMI in detail to Vice Dean Peng and Director Mu. She also introduced a plan of applying Site License to the cases aiming at Chinese market. And Vice Dean Peng introduced the course design, case teaching and case center development of SPPM to her as well. They also had a further discussion on the possible cooperation in the future.
