Entrusted by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, China Case Center went to the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Health separately to for a research on illegal cooking oil on October 23rdand October 26th. The research was greatly supported by the Ministry of Public Security and the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment under the Ministry of Health. On the morning of October 23rd, Director Mu Ling of China Case Center went to the Ministry of Public Health together with Assistant Professor Cao Feng from Institute of Government Management and Innovation, and Assistants of Chian Case Center Zeng Zhimin and Ye Lan, to have a discussion on the crimes of illegal cooking oil. Officials including Deputy Inspector Huang from the Department of Personnel Training of Ministry of Public Security, Chief Xu Chenglei and Deputy Chief Feng Yi from the Division of Fighting Counterfeits, Bureau of Public Security Administration have joined the discussion. On the morning of October 26th, together the two assistants Zeng and Ye, Director Mu went to China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment to know more about the difficulty of testing illegal cooking oil and the measures the Ministry of Health has taken. These two researches have paved way for the development of case on illegal cooking oil for the Center.
