This agreement is a renewal of the agreement between SPPM and HKS of January 1, 2010. It forwards the mutual cooperation on case teaching of the two sides. SPPM has maintained and expanded the cooperation on case studies with HKS since 2004, starting from the sharing of cases, to the training of case teaching techniques and the co-development of cases. HKS has the world’s largest database of teaching cases designed for public management with nearly 2000 cases covering comprehensive fields including public-private partnerships, global issues and international relations, science and technology, policies on trade, transportation, education, election, social welfare, health and housing, gender issues, environmental problems, US federal and state governments, economic growth, human service, innovation, leadership, privatization, project evaluation and public financing. The subscription of this new agreement will bring more varied HKS cases for our personnel training and contribute a lot to Tsinghua’s training of innovative public leaders with strategic thinking and international perspective. Meanwhile, it will enrich cases on public management of Chinese characteristics for the personnel training of Harvard University, serving as an exchange platform for both Harvard and Tsinghua to learn China’s and international experiences.
